If you are interested in Invisalign, the first step is scheduling an appointment with our office.  Dr. Ferrell offers a free consultation appointment to determine if you are a good candidate for Invisalign.

• A panoramic x-ray to assess the bone and biology of your mouth, which are important factors in determining the complexity of your case. 

• An evaluation the condition of your teeth, gums and jaw, your bite, and the amount of space or crowding you have. 

• Review of your smile, what you would like to change, what she would like to change, and the best way to accomplish the redesign of your smile.

• Review of the fees involved based on your case

• Review any orthodontics benefits you may have on your insurance plan

From start to finish, here’s what's included in your Invisalign treatment. 

 

• Panoramic Xray

• Oral exam

• Digital scan of your teeth…no goopy impressions!

• Dr. Ferrell designs your smile and orders a set of Invisalign clear aligners which will be custom made to her specifications. 

• Computer rendering of your smile…before and after!

• Preparation of teeth and first aligner fitting

When your aligners arrive, you’ll come to the office for your “fitting.”  We will prep and polish the teeth to prepare the surface, and then apply tiny “buttons” that will help your aligners click securely into place.  These buttons - called attachments - are made of tooth-colored composite and are not noticeable at all. They are easily removed at the end of the treatment.
